A'esha Renee Miracle, Class of 2022
High School was a bit of a whirlwind, and with missing a year and a half thanks to the pandemic, it almost feels like it was over too quickly.
My freshman year I fell in love with volleyball, which I went on to pursue in and outside of school for my four years at Boulder High. Thanks to volleyball I made some amazing friends and was able to step into who I am today. Through volleyball and the training I learned that mistakes are essential to life, without them we cannot grow. I learned to take up my space, both in my life and on the volleyball court. And most importantly I learned to be confident and believe in myself, to not apologize for every little thing I did and to stop compromising myself to make others happy. Now the volleyball stage of my life is behind me and I’m excited to learn who I am without it, and to continue to grow and make mistakes as long as I live.
I'm a CU Buff
Now that my time at Boulder High is over, I’m so incredibly happy to be moving on to the next adventure of my life and attending college at University of Colorado, Boulder this year. I’m currently planning to study psychology, though I am also very much into creative writing and digital art. I’m definitely quite eager to discover new things, both about myself and the world around me. Who knows, maybe the career I end up following is something I know nothing about yet.

If You'd Like to Support Me
I keep getting asked what I need for college this fall. My most pressing need is a laptop. Boulder High asked me to return the one I’ve used the past few years.
I’m hoping to save enough money to buy an Apple MacBook Air to use at CU, as well as a new backpack, text books and other school expenses. If you’d to send a gift, which I’m deeply grateful for, money toward these items would be most helpful and very much appreciated. In advanced, thank you.
